Terms and Conditions
- 50% Non refundable deposit to secure your booking - Banking details provided on the invoice
- Please confirm seating arrangements, ie: the lounge, long communal table, booth seating or tables in restaurant area at the back.
- Big groups: The lounge can seat up to 30 people and is the place to be for a casual evening with tapas and drinks. When restaurant tables are booked for big groups, a set menu is compulsory
- We can seat up to 150 people and up to 250 people standing. Smaller functions can discuss a fee to take the whole venue
- A discretionary 12.5% service charge will be added to parties of 8 or more.
- Only one set menu per function.
- If there is a limit on the bartab please make sure that this is communicated to the waiter that is serving you. He/she will keep an eye on it but it is best to remind him during the course of the evening as they can get really busy.
- No BYO
- Please confirm bar details 48 hours prior to the function
- Final numbers to be confirmed 48 hours prior to the function. If you book for 100 pax you will be charged for 100 pax regardless of how many people show up
- Unfortunately for lunch parties the party has to end at 5pm as we have to set up for dinner. Please indicate whether you would like to stay for longer, a levy of R1000 per hour will be charged, otherwise you are welcome to party in the bar area all night!
- For evening functions, last rounds are called at 12:00 with the event done by 12:30, if you want the venue for longer a R1500 surcharge will be levied
- Daytime parking is a real squeeze, encouraging car pooling and using Uber will be a great help.
- We do not split bills, tabs will be run per table, if people want to pay for their own drinks they have to order directly from the bar
- You may provide your own DJ / live music / entertainment.
- We are not responsible for any private / property or gifts left behind, we will do our best to keep it safe but it is not our responsibility.
- We are looking forward to hosting your function at s43, home to that brewing company.
